The SITE Board of Directors has voted to offer each chapter one complimentary registration to the SITE International Conference.  The only cost to the attendee is for travel and accommodations.

Chapters are free to use the registration in the way that best suits their needs. It is highly recommended, however, that the chapter use the registration for a current or incoming board member to attend the SITE Chapter Leadership Dinner and Meeting. If a chapter already has board representation for the meeting, they should use the registration for another board member or member to attend IC.

Some chapters develop a competition or promotion to offer the complimentary registration to members and prospective members.  Others implement an incentive program to earn the reward - for example, most new members sponsored the previous year.  Still others have issued a "call for research papers" - in this way the industry gains from the papers submitted in the competition and the best-judged paper results in its author attending the Conference.
