Montreux

General Information
The Swiss Riviera enjoys a particularly mild and pleasant climate thanks to its privileged location on the shores of Lake Geneva and at the foot of the Alps.

The diversity of excursions, be it by bus, train or boat, and of sports (water sports, tennis, golf, horse-riding, hiking) as well as of entertainment offered by the region allows each and everyone, no matter what age, to spend their time ideally.

There is always something happening on the Swiss Riviera, whether it be the international events punctuating the year: the Jazz Festival in July, the theatre performances and the classical music concerts all year long, and the Christmas market and the "Festival du rire" in winter.

The fascinating landscape of the Swiss Riviera makes your stay unforgettable. The beautiful terraced vineyards of Lavaux are part of the UNESCO world heritage. The magnificent vineyards are diving into the crystal blue waters of Lake Geneva and offer a breathtaking view which leaves nobody untouched.

Christmas Market

This year marks the 14th anniversary of Montreux-Noel. Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, there will be 150 artisans and merchants. There are thousands of gift ideas, chalets decorated in the grand tradition of Christmas and several savory treats, such as mulled wine, lumberjack tea and other local specialties. This year the market will run from 27 November - 28 December. For more information, please visit www.montreuxnoel.com.
