KITZIA MORALES HONORED AS SOCIETY OF INCENTIVE & TRAVEL EXECUTIVES MEMBER OF THE YEAR

CHICAGO - During The Society of Incentive & Travel Executives' (SITE) International Conference in December, the Society bestowed its highest individual award - SITE Member of the Year - to Kitzia Morales, chief executive officer of K Group Travel and president of the SITE Mexico Chapter.

2007 SITE President Hugo Slimbrouck noted Morales' energetic spirit and dedication to advancing the profession as well as her market and SITE Chapter during the award ceremony. Under her leadership in 2007, SITE Mexico achieved several key objectives, including:

• Building business opportunities by bringing in buyers from abroad
• Supporting Young Leaders Program initiatives through a strategic alliance with two universities and more than 400 students
• Delivering 17 educational seminars in nine different destinations around the country, providing exposure for new destinations to the incentive industry
• Providing member-to-member benefits by upgrading the chapter Web site and online registration systems

Morales also served as the chair of the SITE International Conference 2004 in Merida, Mexico, and the SITE International Conference 2006 in Barcelona, Spain. "Belonging to SITE has been the best investment for my career," Morales said. "My membership is rewarded everyday through superb value, meaningful business contacts and, most important, the sense of belonging. I truly am a proud SITE member, and that makes the volunteer work easy and fun."
