The Evolution of Incentives in Tomorrow's Marketplace: ESNEP 2008
The Society of Incentive and Travel Executives (SITE) and the Malaga Convention Bureau are delighted to host the seventh ESNEP (European SITE Networking and Education Programme) in Malaga, Andalucía, Spain, from 10-13 May 2008. A city with a rich and impressive history of commerce and cultural exchanges, Malaga will serve as a perfect backdrop to contrast what the world of incentives and motivational events has been and where they are going in the future.
"ESNEP is the best value-for-money event on the industry calendar and has grown from strength to strength since it started in 2001," said SITE's President Padraic Gilligan. "We are thrilled to bring ESNEP to Malaga, one of Europe's finest destinations, and look forward to sharing wonderful motivational experiences there."
The education programme represents a diverse group of speakers all highlighting visionary elements for incentive design and delivery in the future. Some of the programme highlights include: a focus on the opportunities in India and China, looking at what younger generations operating in business want from incentive travel design, the incentive evolution being seen today - "From the Big Wow to the Big Sigh," and a session on "Crystal Balls and Toolkits" or how to look into the future and be prepared for changes.
"In a world where technology can provide information overload and anyone with a blog can claim to have the vision for the future, events like ESNEP are critical to validate what is 'intelligent information' from the industry experts, such as hearing from Rob Davidson from the University of Westminster," commented SITE CEO Brenda Anderson. "ESNEP offers a conversation among a primarily European audience on trends that are important for the marketplace that these professionals operate in. It is unique with a dialogue very different from a tradeshow environment - people take the time to talk to each other and develop enriched relationships."
The lead hotel will be the newly-built Barcelo Malaga and networking events will capitalize on the extraordinary scenery and locations within the city. Delegates will discover the Malaga of a bygone era, and the energy of a new vibrant and colorful Malaga of today that is a magnificent city on the Mediterranean.
