The International SITE Foundation names Bob Vitagliano as Executive Director
 CHICAGO - The International SITE Foundation (ISITE) has announced the appointment of Bob Vitagliano as Executive Director. In this role he will implement the vision and direction of the International Board of Trustees. It is ISITE's mission to deliver essential research, education, and fundraising that will enhance the effectiveness and awareness of incentive travel on a global basis.
"Having worked with Bob Vitagliano closely over the past decade, I know that he will prove to be an effective leader as we launch our Foundation in service to the industry," said Jerry G. McGee, President, Ambassadors, LLC and current President of the International SITE Foundation.
Beginning his career in the incentive industry on the buyer's side with the conglomerate, SCM Corporation, Vitagliano later moved to the supplier side of the incentive travel industry. He has been associated with destination management companies in New York and California and was the Western Regional Manager for Dittman Incentive Marketing, a full-service incentive marketing company. Bob Vitagliano is also founder and CEO of V Associates, a consulting and training company headquartered in Wilmington , North Carolina and is a partner in fourCE.org.
He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of SITE from 1993 through 1999, at that time conducting business in 63 cities in 30 countries. In 1987, Mr. Vitagliano earned the designation Certified Incentive Travel Executive (CITE) demonstrating his depth of experience and broad range of knowledge of the incentive travel industry, and in 1999 he received the EIBTM/IT&ME Intercontinental Fellowship Award for the incentive industry.

The International SITE Foundation's first major fundraising event, the SITE Incentive Classic, a golf and lifestyle event benefiting the incentive & travel community, will be held 4-6 December 2007 at Pebble Beach Resorts in Monterey, California on the courses of Spy Glass and Del Monte. This premiere event will take place preceding SITE 's International Conference 2007.
