International SITE Foundation Details Announced
CHICAGO - The Society of Incentive and Travel Executives has announced the formation of and partnership with the International SITE Foundation. The International SITE Foundation was established to serve the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives' constituents and the incentive and travel industry as a whole.
Operating under the guiding principal that incentive travel is a key component to successful motivational and performance improvement business strategies; the International SITE Foundation will support essential research, education and fundraising that will enhance the effectiveness and awareness of incentive travel on a global basis.
The International SITE Foundation's inaugural Board of Trustees are: Fay P. Beauchine, CITE, SVP Enterprise Sales, Carlson Companies; Ray A. Bloom, Chairman, IMEX; Oliver Bonke, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Starwood; Bill Boyd, CITE,CMP,CMM, President/CEO, Sunbelt Motivation & Travel, Inc.; Madelyn Marusa, DMCP, Vice President, Industry Relations, PRA Destination Management; Jerry G. The International SITE Foundation has announced its first major fundraising event: the Incentive Classic. The Incentive Classic will be a golf and lifestyle event at the Pebble Beach Resorts in Monterey , California 4 - 6 December 2007. The event will take place in conjunction with SITE 's International Conference 2007.
