SITE eLearning

Introducing...SITE eLearning! Thanks to a generous sponsorship by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and the FutureSITE capital campaign donors, SITE is pleased to offer members this exciting new tool. In an effort to enhance educational offerings to the membership, this new membership benefit will provide a more robust and interactive learning experience for SITE members. Special features include the ability to hot link to Web sites from the presentation, ask questions of the participants, launch applications, and download related documents.

While SITE eLearning can never replace offerings at the SITE International Conference and local chapter educational events, eLearning has numerous benefits over traditional methods including:

• Self-paced learning – Members can listen to presentations on their own schedule, any time of day.
• Increased information retention – Since each member learns at their own time and pace, the amount of information retained from the presentation is often greater.
• Less lost productivity – Because eLearning can occur anywhere, members no longer need to be removed from the workplace to update their skills.
• Variety –SITE members will be able to participate in only the sessions in which they are interested.
